This is my military radio and radio astronomy website. Radio collection from WW2 and radioastronomie/EME experiments. For many years only radio from WW2 was to been seen on the website. I decided to make a new part of the website, because I got most interested in what radioastronomie is about. I started that many years ago, when I became a volunteer at CAMRAS, a group enthusiastic people, who are managing the former and restored radio at Dwingeloo in the north of the Netherlands. See activities www.camras.nl. They do observations of all kind of star systems, in our galaxy. Most interesting. There is also a possibility to do an observation of your own, with the radio telescope. The dish has a diameter of 25 meters. so a mighty antenna. Also they maintain the telescope to keep it running. In summer time, they do demonstrations to the people to get them be acquainted to radio astronomy in a simple way. But there are more activities, like EME (moonbounce) and observations of meteors and other interests, like receiving satellites and space probes, like Voyager-1. Because of all these activities, I started to do observation at home with my home build parabole antenna of 1,5 meter, a 67 elements yagi antenna and hard- and software, described in the several posts of this website.
